The District’s summer offer is very rich: we go from the theatre pieces of the Teatro Costabianca in Realmonte, to the Porto Empedocle’s summer, an ever-growing event, to the very peculiar Campfest Gabbara in San Cataldo, where rock music becomes a chance to socialise and camp in a suggestive protected area. As for the sacred aspect, Agrigento hosts the Feast of San Calogero from the first to the second Sunday of July. In Sicily, summer is scorching, and the visit to the mines in the inland areas can be accompanied by very hot temperatures. For this reason, the coast and its beautiful sea are locations very popular in this season. For those who, instead, wish to enjoy the hot Sicily, the offer never stops.
